Ortelius Ventures, LLC, a private equity group specializing in insurance and other U.S. businesses, was founded in 2012 by Peter DeSorcy and H.R.H. Prince Pavlos. 

 

By combining a research-intensive, fundamental-based investment process with a strict risk management program, Ortelius emphasizes performance attribution which stems primarily from stock-picking abilities, or “alpha”, and not from exposure to the marketplace or other macro-exogenous variables.
